Sympathy Card

It seems like I should keep a stack of sympathy cards around, but for some reason, I have a hard time coming up with a design that makes me happy. To me, some cards just need a little more time and attention. I guess it is because, like when I cook, my cards are an act of love when I share them, much as the food I make.
So here is one of my designs for a sympathy card. It is a little more involved, but to me, that's the point.
You will find the products I used below, and you can click them to get to my site to order them if you need them. I will also be posting a video to tell you more about this card, so keep an eye out for that in the near future.

To get the effect on the brick, I used sponge daubers with red, gray, and brown inks.

The roses, I cut using the thinlet dies, and glued them on white paper before I colored them in. One is colored in with markers, and the other I used the sponge daubers again. Each produced a slightly different effect. Then, I just used my paper snips to cut away the white paper.

If you are going to buy the Rose Wonder items, get the bundle! It is the best deal, and will save you a little money. I LOVE the stamps! Theya re so versatile!

Happy Stamping, Y'all!
